It's 2010 and everything is going great!

Lance and Emory are both doing great and our life really seems to be getting back to normal. Lance's next cath is scheduled for Feb 16th and at this point he is going every two months. We did take him to the ER last weekend because he had a low grade fever and has had a cough for a little while now. So to be on the safe side we took him to the local ER to have a chest X-Ray to rule out anything really serious. Thankfully it was clear and we were on our Merry way. Of course this was New Years Day so the hospital was a full house. We did good getting out in 2 hours because they were so full they had people in the hallways on beds.

On a sad note, Grandma Judy is leaving us to go back to McDonough, she has been with us since the summer. She stayed with us to help out with the kids and make sure we weren't overwhelmed. I guess it is a good sign that things have calmed down enough for her to go home, but we will really miss her.

We do have a new house guest, our freind Shannon is living in our basement. She has her own living space down there, but she is really a part of the family and hangs out with us when she is home. The kids adore her and she is great with them. I know this is a great situation for us all.

Prayer request: There is a little girl named Katie Bracken and her family finds out today if they are going to be putting her on the heart transplant list. She has had an issue with draining like Lance did and she has been draining for several months. She is only 3 years old and so sweet. I feel so much for this family and I know what a difficult time this is for them.

Thank you for all the support we have received. It meant so much to us that people came and checked on Lance at the hospital, sent cards, made cards, sent gifts, and all the other things that made him feel so loved.
