Today's Cath

Lance had his cath this morning. He had to be there at 6:30 am and they took him back at ten minutes to 9:00am. When they brought him back after the cath they said he did great and his numbers looked really good. Dr. Kim said he got at little agitated when they were putting the needle in his leg. So they had to give him morphine to calm him down. Then Mr. Lance got a little to relaxed and his breathing got real shallow. They just kept making him talk about what Santa was bringing him and as long as he wasn't drifting off to sleep he was fine. They said he was quite entertaining back there. He is of course really sleepy now and he will probably stay that way for most of the day.

Thank you for all the prayers and love. Lance is doing really well and we will now be at the point that he only has to go for cath's every two months. We are so grateful for where we are and the blessings that we have been given. God has been so good to us and we feel so fortunate. Another positive is that Lance's EEG came back great so they have decreased the Keppra. So we will work on slowly weening him off. Lance has caught on that the Keppra is his "crutch". One day when I was getting on to him for something he was doing, probably whinning, he said "Mom, it is just the Keppra".I guess he listens to us more than we think. We shall see in a few months if it is "just the Keppra".
